Running around with your head chopped off trying to keep your home managed so nothing will explode is a common recurrence in most households. Having a household planner can ensure nothing will blow up and won’t get out of hand.

My Realization I Needed a Household Planner

Sometimes I really wish I had an easy way to organize my life, finances, and schedule. A while back I felt all was at a loss and I absolutely could not manage my home without losing my mind. I started to realize I needed help when it came to keeping everything organized.

One week everything hit the fan! I had recently accepted some extra responsibilities for my job and my home life felt like it was going into chaos. My son had a few doctors appointments he needed to go to and needed a haircut. I had forgotten to get the haircut because I had to drop everything for work.

My husband is a freelancer and he had a bunch of deadlines he needed to meet in the same week as all of my son’s appointments. Let’s just say everything was in disarray and we seemed to not be able to keep everything in order until the very last second.

The following week we had about 5 family and friends that had birthdays and anniversaries. Here I was on Amazon trying to buy last minute gifts! Ugh. I don’t know about you but when I’m under pressure I never know what to buy people.

During all of this, my meal planning and chore schedule were all messed up. We were eating out way too much and blew through our budget for the month for food and entertainment. It would have been nice to have everything laid out and pre-planned on paper so we didn’t have to eat out last minute.

Since all my weekly chores were put on the back burner, my house was cluttered, disorganized, and dirty. Making the time to clean and put everything away just wasn’t going to happen.

It Is Time To Organize My Life

It finally hit me one day. I needed a better way to manage my home and time. What better way than to create a home management binder. Since it was coming to the end of the year I made it my mission to organize my New Year’s resolutions and make managing my home a priority.

The Household Management Binder Was Born!

After some serious brainstorming, I put together the Organized Household Planner. This planner solved all my problems when it came to keeping what I need organized. What better way to organize your life than with a notebook?

I know emergency contacts and important dates are not that complicated. The issue is having to recall those emergency contacts by heart or repeating those important dates. When they are written down you don’t have to rack your brain trying to remember. A great reason to write it all down in a planner.

Financial Printables

Keeping a quick guide for finances is a huge bonus. Sometimes we forget when we have recurring payments that happen monthly or even yearly. I forget every year when my Amazon Prime membership renews. My financial tracker that I created helps solve that problem.

Cute Chores Printables

I hate having to clean and organize. As parents, we try to coax our kids into helping with these necessary tasks. I came up with little reward printables for the kids when they are doing chores. This is a great incentive for them to complete everything in a timely manner. A great addition to the cute home management binder printables.

Meal Planning Printables

It kills me when I have to go on a whim to plan dinner. Most of the time we end up sticking in microwaveable chicken nuggets and call it a night. I’m not kidding. Part of my New Year’s resolution is to start eating better. Organizing my meals is an intricate part of that process. Without planning, I would be setting myself up for failure. So this household planner is part of my strategy in making my home better and organizing my life.

Helpful Planning

Setting your goals can be a huge part of making your dreams come true. I have tons of projects I want to get started and I have to prioritize what is important. So I set to make a printable for projects and ways to manage them. I also made a way to set up your daily, weekly, and monthly tasks so make those goals become a reality.
